Membership in Harbor Soaring Society requires membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). See AMA joining procedures below.
Please complete the Harbor Soaring Society Membership Application,
 and email as an attachment to:
membership or mail to: Harbor Soaring Society, P.O. Box 1673, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Since AMA membership is required to join HSS, include a zerox copy of your AMA membership card.
Annual senior dues are $20 per year. Junior member (16 and under) is $10. Optional name tag is $15. Newsletter delivered by E-mail is no charge. Newsletter delivered by USPS is $20 per year.
Applicants requesting senior membership between July 1st and October 31st pay a reduced rate of $10.00 (Name tag extra).
New applicants making application between November 1st and December 31st will pay the annual rate indicated above and such dues will make the new member paid in full from November 1st through the following year.
A signature on the application is required from all renewing Harbor Soaring Society members, and applicants, agreeing to comply with the current AMA Safety Code and the current HSS General Field rules and Field Safety Rules.
Note that a City of Costa Mesa permit is required to fly at Fairview Park. Cost is $20/yr.  to download permit application.
